Jen's Ladies Nite New Year 2012

Can you imagine what type of life would a married woman gone through especially those housewives who have to overcome the many years of taking care, not only their family, but the chores they have to face daily? It can be awfully stressful at time. Amazingly, most women are born to handle very well the stress and pressures.
Jen and her friends have over the years make it a point and whenever time permit commit themselves to meet up once every Friday a gathering among her girlfriends/housewives. The pics shown below were at her friend Annie's house to celebrate the beginning of New Year 2012.

Christmas Parade - Miri, Sarawak. Malaysia.

Miri is the first city in the state of Sarawak to hold Christmas Parade event yearly bringing together all christian denominations in one celebration in Malaysia. It is estimated the participation this year was around 10,000 despite the rain on that night.

This girl just wants to share 'The Light' with the rest of the world.

Miss Global International Malaysia 2011

The winners of the 2011 Miss Global International Malaysia final held in Miri. The event was in July the 31st and I was one of their official photographers. I only put out only three photos that show the outcome of of the chosen beauties.

Marlene is the organizer of Miss Global International Malaysia. This is the first time Miss Global International Malaysia ever held in Malaysia and Sarawak, aiming to raise fund for National Cancer Society of Sarawak, Palliative Care Association Miri and Sunflower Center.

This was their third cities stop celebrating their marriage in Miri on the 7th January, 2011 since the wedding ceremony which was held in Batu Pahat, Johore on Friday, 17th December 2010. Both are graduates working professional, busy but busyness does not stop them from showing their parents their gratitude and cheering their love and happiness by their friends and relatives. As filial children and lovely newly wedded couple, they have lots of reason for the celebrations.

Double Suprises!

Yes, it was a double surprises. One it was for their mother who is getting old and weak and need and hope her children would come visit her more often. The other was for Philip who operate a western cafe in Miri offering the best western cuisine and lamb shank in Miri the Australian style with Sarawak touch. Siew Min decided to throw them both a suprise by coming all the way from Sydney to tell her mother she is all in her heart and by action coming, flying over just to comfort and see her even if it burnt a hole in her pocket. And to her brother, Philip, it was his birthday that night. What a way to say Happy Birthday.
