The Lotus

One last day to the New Year 2011! May I use it to extend my wishes to all friends, relatives and viewers a Happy New Year 2011 and may it bring to them evermore happiness, prosperity, health and also looking forward for more time and sharing together always.
A 'datuk' photographer friend has fascinations of taking photo of the lotus. He said the beauty and shape of this flower keep on changing and it bring deep sense of inspiration and wonder. No wonder there is to this day a worldwide fascination with flowers, inspiring both the poet and the novice. To many Asian cultures, the lotus symbolises purity and the growth of it's beauty, unsullied by the mud and slush of its origin. True enough, it is gorgeous to see how the beauty unfold itself and stand out elegantly from the rest with grace and fascination, wavering with it its thin tall stalk as the wind blow on them in the pond.

Get Moving & Shooting

That was actually what I did last week! Get moving and shooting. Went to attend CM leung's photography seminar in KL. During my free time went downtown to the twin towers around 4pm strolling and waited til 7pm until my daughter Judy called me to meet up as she was hungry:D. And tourist coming to me, while waiting, asking how I charge and want their picture to be taken.
CM leung at the seminar. You can see Cm enjoying and admiring his own slideshow. It was his first successful seminar in KL since setting his office here. The room was packed with about 40 people or so and they have to be seated on the floor.

Double Suprises!

Yes, it was a double surprises. One it was for their mother who is getting old and weak and need and hope her children would come visit her more often. The other was for Philip who operate a western cafe in Miri offering the best western cuisine and lamb shank in Miri the Australian style with Sarawak touch. Siew Min decided to throw them both a suprise by coming all the way from Sydney to tell her mother she is all in her heart and by action coming, flying over just to comfort and see her even if it burnt a hole in her pocket. And to her brother, Philip, it was his birthday that night. What a way to say Happy Birthday.

Music of the Heart3

Using music to bring messages across in to-day society at this function showing concern its anti-drug activities at national, regional and international level. Youths are encouraged to take up healthy activities and expose them to the purpose  and awareness so that they may become more dedicate toward others in the communities. Eight students from Miri were chosen at personal level to participate and contribute for this charity musical concert at Radio Television Brunei(RTB) in collaboration with La Strada and Basmida. There were few others from our west Malaysia including violinist Datin Dr. Puteri Azaeliya Hamdillah. Malaysians are proud to be the contributors in this event.
